  1. Application

    Our General Conditions of Sale, as stated on our e-commerce site. Accepted them as written, notwithstanding any clause to the contrary appearing in his own documents. These General Conditions of Sale constitute the contract between the parties and take precedence over any document emanating from the customer, and in particular his general conditions of purchase.

     

    1. Protection of minors In accordance with Articles L3342-1 and L3353-3 of the Public Health Code, the sale of alcoholic beverages to minors under the age of 18 is prohibited. Consequently, only people over 18 can complete the order form on the site www.champagneetiennedoue.com and make an online purchase on this site. Alcohol abuse is dangerous – Consume in moderation.

    Placing an order on the site and confirming the order requires the acceptance of the terms and conditions of sale below in their entirety.

     

    1. Orders

    3.1 Our company reserves the right to refuse, reduce or split any customer order for an abnormally high quality.

     

    1. Delivery – transfer of risk

    4.1 The delivery times indicated on any document, emanating either from our company or from the customer, always refer to the availabilityof the products on our premises, whatever the methods of transport and even if our company ensures the delivery to the customer’s premises. Delivery times are indicative and depend on supply possibilities and the company commissioned to make the delivery. Exceeding the delivery time may not give rise to penalties for delay, damages, refusal of delivery or cancellation of orders.

     

    4.2 Whatever the methods of transport of the products, it is up to the customer, in the event of damage or shortage

    1. a) to make observation on the delivery note and on the transport note,
    2. b) to notify the carrier by extrajudicial document or registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt of a valid complaint, within three days (not including public holidays) following the date of receipt of the products by the customer
    3. c) to inform our company, without delay by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt.

     

    1. Claims

    5.1 All claims relating to the products delivered – with the exception of those relating to transport, must be sent to our company by registered letter with written acknowledgment of receipt within eight days of receipt of the products by the customer. After this eight-day period, the products will be deemed to comply with what had been ordered and no claims will be accepted by our company, which will be released from any liability. In the event of complaints, the customer must provide all supporting documents as to their rveracity and must allow our company or any third party to carry all the observations which are deemed necessary. If, after verifaction, the complaints appear to be well founded, the customer may only request the free replacement of the products subject to the complaints. The customer’s complaints may on no accounr give rise to the payment of any costs, indemnities, damages of any kind and on no account justify the cancellation of the order. Any claim made by the customer under the conditions and according to the methods described in this article does not exempt the customer from his obligation to pay for the products delivered.

    5.2 No return of products will be accepted without the prior written consent of our company.

     

    1. Price

    6.1 The prices appearing on the e-commerce site, tariffs, catalogues or any other document issued by our company are given only as an indication and without guarantee of duration. Our company reserves the right to modify the price of its products at any time, it being specified that in the event of a price variation, the applicable price will be that in force on the date of receipt of the order. The prices indicated by our companyon our e-commerce site are inclusive of all taxes on, net of any discount for packaged products, delivered to the customer’s premises, carriage paid for any order of more than the equivalent of 120 bottles, in mainland France . Any order of a lower quantity will incure invoicing of transport costs.

    1. Payment

    7.1 Invoices are payable immediately upon ordering, by credit card or bank transfer, without discount. Payments are made by 3D-Secure, a fully secure payment, through our bank Crédit Agricole.

    7.2 Your contact details are automatically encrypted and cannot be intercepted. Our site does not receive any information about your bank card. After making your payment, you will receive an electronic ticket containing all the usual information for paying by credit card. The accepted bank cards are those with the initials CB: VISA, EUROCARD AND MASTERCARD.

    1. Force majeure

    Our company will be released from all or part of its obligations without any claim for damages if there are unforeseen circumstances or force majeure preventing or delaying the preparation or delivery of products. In the event of a case of force majeure, our company undertakes to notify the customer as soon as possible in writing.

    1. Storage advice

    To preserve the qualities of Champagne wine, the bottles should be stored lying down in a closed room, protected from light, excessive temperatures and frost. No quality complaint will be admissible if these storage conditions have not been respected.

    1. Compliance with regulations.

    Our company reserves the right to cease deliveries and cancel orders from customers who do not respect, with regard to the products sold, all the legislative and regulatory provisions inherent in economic rights and in particular with regard to resale. at a loss, traceability and food safety.

     

    1. Jurisdiction – dispute

    For all disputes relating to the execution or interpretation of these general conditions of sale, the Commercial Court of TROYES alone will be competent.
